A Hevy alternative that tracks food too

Updated 30 October 2026

Hevy is a great workout logger. What it does not do is food. If you run Hevy next to a calorie counter, URBDY does both, and it can bring your Hevy history with you.

Where Hevy is strong

Hevy is quick to log with, has a big community and a free plan you can use for a long time. If you only want to log lifts, it is a solid choice.

Why people switch

Most lifters also care about what they eat. With Hevy that means a second app, and often a second subscription. URBDY logs your sets and your meals in the same place, and its meal planner picks cheap, high-protein recipes you can actually cook.

Bring your Hevy history

  1. In Hevy, open Profile, then the settings cog.
  2. Tap "Export & Import Data", then "Export Workouts", and save the file.
  3. In URBDY, choose that file. Your records and charts carry on.

What URBDY is

URBDY is one iPhone app for the gym and for food. It launches in January 2027, UK first, and the test version is open now.
